Old Life in Luxury

As I was driving to my client's site around 9:30 am on last Friday, there was a Volvo S80 with the licence plate of BBB 111 in front of me. It went so slow, as compared to my normal driving rate, so I decided to overtake that car. At the stop light, I looked at my rear view mirror and realised that it was an elderly man who was driving this car. Seated beside him is the wife, I supposed, also an elderly woman. They must be in their 60's. No wonder the car went so leisurely slow. These old couple has no reason to rush off anywhere.

A thought came across my mind. Whatever decisions they must have made about 40 year ago are the best for them. Be it business decisions, investment decisions or marry-to-a-millionaire-daughter/son decision must have benefitted them both now. Here they are driving a Volvo S80 with licence plate number BBB 111, (I assumed that the licence plate is bidded for) coming from the Tropicana neighbborhood, enjoying their old age together leisurely and luxuriously.

They are the perfect example of what I want my old life to be. Of course, if I'm able to be in their shoes by the age of 40, it would be much much better. And yes, it will have to be a PRICE to pay.

We all know that.

Hence the beauty products provide wider range for women to fight against ageing. Also as a visual person, I tend to want to like what I see in the mirror or the mirror of life. I want to see a reflection that I like. My current mantra is forty and fabulous. Living up to every bit of this, off late I have started seeing some reflections that I don't think I like. The physicals are starting to change. Then I came across the tag. Kinda lifted up my spirit.  I swear it's gonna be my new mantra.

... I would be a DIGITAL NOMAD. My passion for travel, and my readiness to uproot and relocate and my passion for exploring will be likely the valuable attributes for me to be working remotely while enjoying life. Seeing how easy things are connecting borderless-ly, working and living life can be blended into one work life balance approach.
