Morning Blue

I was writing this blog while chatting with a friend. Suddenly I feel like sharing my feelings when hubby told me his ex-girlfriend called up to update him on her life. Yeah true that she's married. And yeah true that hubby's been very loving and true to me. But still, as a woman "the feeling" is still there. Accepting and handling this type of emotion shall require skills and determination. Alhamdulillah, I accept him and his pre-myself life as it is. And people whom he might have met prior meeting me. And yes I can't dictate who he can or cannot be friends with. But just to be fair, I shall constantly remind myself that I won't take it as a competition because obviously I had won. And I think hubby is just being honest. Thanks, sayang. p/s: The Too Phat song about being "just a friend" keep ringing in my head the whole time I was typing. Hmm...

Unidentified Friend Object

When taking the elevator up this morning, there was a Chinese lady and an Indian cleaner lady in the elevator with me. Only buttons for floors 8 and 12 were on. I was wondering if that Chinese lady was actually a colleague. Yups...on the 8th floor, only the Indian cleaner lady got off. Because everybody else has left the company except for me. How boring!! It has become so mundane and lifeless. Work is no fun anymore. Worse, half of the force are newcomers. Nobody knows anybody anymore. And nobody seems to care. What next?? ...

Raya Chronology

Raya Day 1 We celebrated Hari Raya 2005 at my MIL house. We went back after buka puasa on the Deepavali day. Raya was OK. The usual salam-peluk-cium-nangis stuffs. Duit raya this year tak banyak sangat. Mostly gave RM1. After the salam session, makan ketupat laaa...apa lagi. And so we eat and eat and eat. Cuma this year tak puas makan lodeh. Raya Day 2 My hubby's Pak Long's second daughter got engaged at her grandma's house. Our Opah wanted to be there early, for whatevar reasons. So we all went there by 10 in the morning. My bad, I brought Syabil along. Having Fatin around was not so bad because she's as "grown up" as she is, dah pandai main sendiri. But Syabil was another case. Since we were early, and it was Friday, we had to wait for the groom-to-be families to arrive at the next door neighbour's house. And they only arrived at 3:30 pm, after the Friday's prayers. Imagine the waiting hours. Syabil dah biasa tidur dengan buaian, so member tak sena...
